Now there are 5 assholes in my personal screening. Not counting me.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I looked at the screening closest to me and it's completely sold out. It's a pretty sizeable theater too.

Not me because you’re in row 1 so I can’t stand in front of you.B wrote:Also, some asshole bought a ticket to my Dark Matter showing. It was probably fucking Bammer.
PS- I really, earnestly, do not like that you changed the thread title. Very Trumpish move.

Will this be the first time hearing the album for most of you? I didn't participate in the record store event and haven't listened to any shitty iPhone leaks. Still only heard DM and Running. I've been reading all the early reviews/descriptions and I can't wait to hear it straight through in Dolby Atmos. Close to 70 people in the theater I'm going to! Two days! Can't wait can't wait.

No record stores near me played it. I DID listen to the 30 second clips of Wreckage and Something Special.
I haven't read many reviews, mostly because I'm personally miffed that stip was cut out of early listens that could help us finish our book, but also because I'm not really interested in someone's take on an album that I can't listen to. Music reviews are more interesting to me if I'm unsure whether I'm going to seek something out or not or after the fact so I can compare my take to others.

If you'd like, the mods can discuss and get back to you with a more appropriate course of action.Bammer wrote:You’re not fighting fair, and you’re gloating about it.B wrote:I let you change it back, but then you whined about it and fucked yourself.Bammer wrote:Not me because you’re in row 1 so I can’t stand in front of you.B wrote:Also, some asshole bought a ticket to my Dark Matter showing. Was a little on the fence but decided if a proper leak arrives(so not a phone recording), I'll listen to it before the theater though. I think I'll enjoy the songs more the more I hear them so it would only enhance the surround sound experience.
First time hearing an album in surround sound. I'm getting more and more excited.

Looking forward to the theatre listening experience tomorrow.
Nothing like having a proper sound system to listen to the album for the first time.

Hope everyone attending one of these today has a great time, even those of you among us who still feel the need to be cool and pretend that you won't.

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

Just came back from mine in Launceston - Tasmania - Australia. About 25 people in there. Pretty quiet crowd, I enjoyed it. Mike really shines on a few songs, which i like. Lyrics deep and meaningful. Eddies voice showed a lot of versatility and sounded good. Matt Cameron also produced a bit of magic here and there.
