Between this and Werner Herzog's Family Romance LLC, I like that there's a trend of aging German auteurs relocating to Japan and making melancholy low-budget movies in Japanese

Nine Days, Shithouse, There Is No Evil, My Octopus Teacher, Wolfwalkers, The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, David Byrne’s American Utopia, The Painter and the Thief, Small Axe: Mangrove, Words On Bathroom Walls.

What did you think of American Utopia?
Loved it. Even if I had high hopes, it surpassed my expectations. Really lifted my spirits that day, maybe that whole week. David Byrne is brilliant.
