Just staggering that they would release those two other songs to promote this album. This is a 4- maybe 5-star song with some obvious production flaws. Those other are are bad songs with bad production on top.

They continue to confound at every possible chance.

I love DM, like Running (specially as an album track i guess it will provide a energy kick) and love Wreckage on my three listens so, for me this album is shaping out pretty great

This is the most excited I've been about Pearl Jam since S/T came out and I was all, like, "Oh my god, they've finally got some pep again!"

The hype settled on that one over time, but this is still feeling really good.

I wanna give a shout out to DM title track, because I've kind of been seeing this sentiment that it's one of the "lesser" tracks on the album. I feel like this tends to happen when songs are released as singles. It's one of my favorites! It's actually grown on me even more in context of the album. It has such an awesome anthemic, classic PJ chorus, and the blistering solo at the end is fucking great.

While most of the album is mid tempo, this one actually rocks.


It was a stand out from metal door leak on day 1, and I love it even more now. Gonna be so good live too.

I'll second this. It remains one of my favorites on this album. It's a pretty great song, full stop, and is only improved by the fact that it is somewhat of an outlier

Although probably not near the top for me as a song, I do think the solo is one of the highlights of the album.

Agreed. Makes no sense to me other than they think mainstream fans only care about rockin' Pearl Jam. But isn't Last Kiss like their biggest single? Sure, this wouldn't have made the hard rock charts, but it's far and away better than Dark Matter and Running. I mean Dark Matter, fine. But Running as a single makes 0 sense.

Wreckage is okay. It's the safe side of Pearl Jam that I
no longer care for. Sounds like a Tom Petty tune, but Petty was far more interesting than Ed will ever be, so...

Hoping for more rawk songs. My enjoyment of the album will likely depend on how often Matt and Jeff were allowed to BUST OUT. Ed can go have a shit as far as I'm concerned.
