I love that there's some heft to the guitars after the "holding out" bit before the outro

I haven't listened on headphones yet, but i think a good part of this is the band really just playing int he moment and putting more energy into it. It feels so nice and not static.

I went 4 stars based on two listens but this is more like a 4.5 with a chance at eventually landing as a 5.

Jeff's bass work is great on this, he really finds room to groove in what is a pretty straightforward number

He is awesome yeah he is present and at all times he is doing interesting stuff and giving the song some very cool groove

I'm slayed. Just slayed. Alot of loss this last few months for me in the way of loved ones passing. I knew for whatever the reason I hadn't really dealt with it.
The song just as a song is stunning. Jeff's bass is really what is allowing this to take off. Ed owes him here. Mike guitar is harmonious with Ed in this in way I haven't heard. Then the words my they resonate. This could settle in my too 5 all time. I won't know that for at least half a decade. Knowing what life starts to look like in middle age and beyond yeah this goes in my knapsack.

I don't ever doubt the intentions or sentimentality of Ed. He does a great job here of tapping into the wisdom and perspective of someone who has been through a lot in life, like many of us have.
