So far I'm gravitating to the mid-tempo/moody ones: Wreckage, Won't Tell, and Upper Hand are the standouts at this point in the album.

The PJ sweet spot IMO

Mid tempo is where Pearl jam goes to creatively die

At least it sounds better than 'Self-Titled', listened to that one recently and my god are those drums harsh.

Wondering if Trag's two week sabbatical starts when he finishes the first listen or when the album actually releases.

I feel comfortable weighing in on songwriting and sequencing now. I need to let the recency bias wear off and see if this is something I could listen to regularly. It is VERY harsh to my ears, just horrid production. But a few of these songs are definitely great.

So we are gonna buy this together!
