I wasn't crazy about it from the iPhone baby bootleg, but this is the one that has shot up the most for me in the rankings

I feel it’s a very pop, adult contemporary song, but being performed by PJ it’s got a grit that separates it. And Ed sounds gloriousteflonsteve wrote:HATED this one on first listen but the reviews make me wonder if i'm missing something. Guess it needs another spin.
Edit: on second listen this one is not good. A little too Coldplay/U2
Like Wreckage I am happy they allowed themselves to make an unabashed pop song.

I never would have guessed this started as a "Jeff song"

This is probably my favourite on second listen but that's not saying too much as it's just okay.

I liked the lyrics too. If I remember correctly it captures a very guarded person reaching out to another person and longing for connection

Re: Won't Tell
This one didn't immediately connect with me the way some of the other songs did on the phone recording. I was slightly taken aback by the very upbeat music and poppy nature of the track. On repeated listens and especially hearing the good quality leak, it has really struck a chord with me. I really like the lyrics. The entire song is very melodic; verses, chorus and then that fantastic bridge into the outro. 5 stars.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

When this song starts I think of "It Must Have Been Love." Which, for me, is a great thing.

I've been trying to remember what the intro to this reminds me of (and probably part of what subconsciously draws me to it); it's a completely different key but similar vibe; I like emo PJ!

From the "Open the door..." bridge lines through the end of the song is my favorite thing this on the whole album...the heft in Ed's voice really balances the poppiness of the music. Love it.

The Verse Melody is so sexy and the chorus is so upbeat with just wonderful phrasing.

That one guitar part in the outro sounds so much like the Cure. I love it!

Very 80’s, but sounds more like the Edge to me
