It's awfully hard to figure where SoF will land, but if I must, I must
Last Exit
Go
Life Wasted
Who Ever Said
Brain of J
Scared of Fear (could see this dipping two below or moving two above)
Can't Keep
GSMF
Once
Breakerfall
Sometimes
Getaway
This is rising up hard and fast for me. It might be a top 4 album opener. That bridge is gorgeous, the slow part then build to the furious ending. Mike is doing a lot of nice work in the background. That main verse riff is just so damn catchy.
Hot take: this one probably has the best solo on the album.

Yeah it was the correct move to make a right turn and slow down/open things up on the bridge. Same thing happens on “Who Ever Said” right? It’s a good trend. I feel like if this had been done during the BS LB era it would have just been pedal to the metal the whole way and thus less interesting.

Agreed. I see that comparison to WES, although I like SOF more, despite WES's excellent bridge. SOF has a catchier verse and more powerful chorus and outro.

Agree with all of this. It reminds me of Brother the Cloud as much as WES though.
The intro to SOF is a small portion of the synth clip we hear on the PJ IG and Twitter accounts. The recognizable synth part just starts to come in before it's cut off.
I wish they used the whole synth part. Or even as an interlude between songs, or hell even turn it into a song itself.

I totally noticed the Brother the Cloud similarities when I was in the theater.

Everyone is 100% clicking on this. Didn’t appreciate it on the cargo pants leak but I’m getting it now. It won’t top Sometimes as an opener but it will contend for that 2-4 spot. Mike and Stone are selling me on it.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.
