Big call but this is Yield 2.0.
We’ll see how the songs hold up but I’m very confident in saying Ed hasn’t sounded this good since Yield…everyone seems to be on fire on this album but to me Ed is the standout. Just so many excellent vocal tones and melodies that have been absent for years…

Absolutely - we will only know in time. I was more referring to the hooks and inflections that stick. Yield is absolutely littered with them.

Once I listened on headphones and I could what both guitars were doing on Scared of Fear panned left and right, that totally opened up the song for me. That's the best of that song.

That palm muted picked guitar part in R/R... tasty tasty

I know not everyone will be 100% happy, but how amazing for a band that we all love to produce an album this (subjectively) good? I'm one happy man :D

Stereo panning of the guitar parts is this album's secret weapon!

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm bowing out with another superlative spin of Setting Sun.

Good night and god bless you all, and may your dispassionate sober eyes be kind on my drunken ramblings in the coming days and may the north of America and elsewhere enjoy the official release :)

If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended:

*Juvenal exeunt pursued by a fucking great album*

So is it OK for a grown ass man to be brought to tears by a God damn rock band? I hope so , because if it's not I'm going to have to forget this ever happened
