How many of those three songs are the singles?
 guilty as charged. DM and something special are fine in the context of the album. I like them just not as much as the rest of the songs. But i just can’t get in to Running. It feels like it belongs on a different album
This cracks me the fuck up. *Almost* feels like next level marketing. Lol.
It was actually my audition write up for Pitchfork

They are great. Calm down. Production is the only thing you have on them here.

Running fucking rules. That ending, tight as hell, is lights out.
Settle down

I love hearing this from you. As one of the posters on this board who are mostly cold on PJ the last however many years, btu has such great taste in music that i admire, just melts my heart you are enjoying this.

And this is not uncommon from people on this board.

That is amazing.
you’ve got great taste in music as well, my dude.

fwiw I loved (still do) Gigaton. It’s only LB I can’t get into.
Thats cause LB sucks!

I loved it when it came out, but my first child had just been born and I needed dad rock. With time, it fell long and hard.

Green Disease fan club member here.

I definitely think R/R lives in that pocket of their catalog. I also feel some MFS vibes too. But React, Respond is better than any of those.
Also a fan of GD.

But if I'm not mistaken, it's Stone doing the heavy lifting in the back half of Setting Sun?

Premature over-inflated knee-jerk ranking after 20 or so listens this week:

5-stars:
Scared of Fear
React, Respond
Dark Matter

4-stars:
Got to Give
Setting Sun
Won't Tell

3-stars:
Running
Upper Hand
Waiting for Stevie
Wreckage
Something Special

Overall I'm thinking it's a more consistent record than anything else in the PRAMG era, but the highs of Gigaton were higher.
