I love that guitar lick/solo that (I'm guessing) Stone does

Ed's Quadrophenia fandom shines brightly here, with Jeff doing a more than competent version of the Ox. What a triumphant song.

Re: Got To Give
Maybe not a romantic breakup, but something else. Possibly about Cornell or his brother?

Re: Got To Give
This one keeps revealing itself
I'm loving this more and more with each listen
That read of the lyrics really gave me a new appreciation of the song and really opened it up
I love how it's got that Born in the USA upbeat Springsteen thing going on with the music; which like many of the songs on Born in the USA, serve to mask the actual darkness boiling underneath the lyrics.
When the Bridge hits - It turns into a total WHO song ; which is brilliant
The outro just cooks and I just picture Eddie rocking out and beating the living shit out of his Telecaster
Another one I can't wait to hear live

I have finally figured out what some of the verse melody reminds me of…. Islands in the Stream by Kenny and Dolly.

Re: Got To Give
didn't that happen in the Vs. liner notes? wasn't there something missing? it might not have been Vs.unLEASHed wrote:“Get to the Point” …that was an Ed decision for sure…stip wrote:i wonder why we only got partial lyrics to this one.
