Haha, that's quite okay. That post was some random synapses of my brain firing off on preliminary, half-baked thoughts about the record, compared to what you did. Incredible writing, as always....your part about Stevie was particularly powerful. I'm not sure I felt the same way about the song, but reading your work there is helping me crystallize when and why I do feel that powerfully about music this band (and really, any band) makes. I know it's a powerful piece of music writing when it helps me better understand not only how I feel about the particular piece of music that person's writing about, but how I feel about music in general.stip wrote:
