This isn’t my favorite PJ album, but at this stage of my life, I am 100% certain that I will listen to this album front to back more than any other Pearl Jam album the rest of the way. That’s something.

You have to remember Taylor released her new one yesterday and it had 23 unannounced bonus tracks with it. He’s probably not finished with the first run-through of that one yet.

just going with my heart today, in the full flower of recency, i would have this at number 4. it should settle no lower than 5 or 6 at the worst

I love having a place like this where this collection of random people who for the most part don't know each other beyond words and avatars on a computer screen can engage in something that's captured our hearts and minds like this music has for all these years. None of us are alone in the feelings this band has drawn out of us and that's at the heart of DM and what Pearl Jam has always been really.

Loving this.

sadly they gave me page limits. i had to cut 23000 words from the first draft

It's insane how much I adore it. Recency bias aside it may well be a Top 20 PJ song for me, which would have amazed me in January.
