Love of each other love of the music love of the fans . A pool break kicks this album off. Why is that significant. Well Rick Danko 's bass hangs in Ed's studio. Ed played a Robbie Robertson guitar at Benaroyal. Who are Rick and Robby? Two members of the Band. What does that have to do with pool? The Last Waltz a film of their last concert. Kicks off with Rick breaking.
The movie once we were brothers was filmed a shangri-la. It is a beautiful film. The Band wore hats. I think Mvp is love followed closely by hats.
This was good. Especially the hats. hats should be added to the poll!

As much as everyone is just killing it on this thing, MVP has to be Ed. He's the one that channels it all down into something that feels personal to us.

And for as much shit as Ed has received on here recently (deserved), this is truly a moment of redemption for him. Many of us thought he had completely lost the artistic ability to create this level of communal emotional connection.

Your next task - figure out why Got to Give lyrics only includes a few lines from the outro?

I’ll say “all of the above”. Everything feels like it came together perfectly for this album.

If you see the band live he does that at pretty much all nights. But I get what you mean yes.

I meant as a songwriter, there's been mostly divisive reactions to his songwriting contributions for the last few albums, even on Gig

ed still remains my favorite songwriter in the band too - at least modern output. But probably all periods

Everybody upped their game for this one, but it Has to be Watt. I don't see how they pull off an album this tremendous this without him.

Just fired up the vinyl. Nevermind what I said before; the MVP is Jeff.

No one ever says Stone, and that’s exactly why it’s Stone. Eddie is smoking eyes, Matt is bulging biceps in a white t-shirt, Jeff is the tight ass in blue jeans, and Mike is a big swinging dick in gray sweats. But Stone is the balanced breakfast and daily exercise that make them all shine. I fucking love Stone Gossard.

The new album sounds great but….I just tossed on my vinyl of Binaural to compare and the mix sounds significantly better. Point against Watt.

Every time I start to make the case for someone else in my brain, Dark Matter comes on and Jeff’s bass launches me into space.

I think my answer for every album is always Ed and Stone. They are the main ingredient to what I like about Pearl Jam
