I think it fits ok on album. My main puzzling on this song is why they put it out as a 'single' - it felt more like 'here's another song from the album' than a single. Haven't heard it once on radio.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

WHY IS ED YELLING VICTROLA?!
I read it as he's calling the object of his ire a "broken record"

Oh now that's interesting... I like that.
The best I could do was try to somehow relate it to the "tunnel." But then it's this weird mixed metaphor and my head hurts.

Fuck it. This song is maybe better than spin the black circle.
There's such an in the moment energy. That final scream from Ed before that tight as fuck ending at 190 Bpm...
You don't get that scream by adding to others demos. Thats real intensity in the moment shit.
Sorry, ruddo.
I'd love for them to open a show with this. 2 minute onslaught. Welcome back pj

This song is most improved at this point. I HATED it upon initial release.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
