Re: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Nocturama was my first Cave album. Apparently it is really hated among his fanbase, which was surprising to me, as I’ve always thought it was great. Cave himself (hilariously) addresses it here.

“Wonderful Life,” “He Wants You,” and “Babe I’m On Fire” are all just great.

Re: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
I would say my first was the greatest hits he released around 98? great one, and it had a second cd with a live show. That was my introduction to the band and him.

Re: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
even if hes listing seasonal fruit, every line is sung with sincerity and conviction. blurring the lines of what is and what isn't a silly lyric
like on "she passed by my window"
"apple, plum and brand new pear.."
