Howard loves the album from start to end. An experience

Howard asks Ed what they will play

Ed says they will play one new one then let Howard choose another one. They haven’t practiced old songs. Ed says they have not planned for this. The band is practicing.

Howard negotiating the songs was great.

Howard...give me a different answer...I get 2
Ed not having it
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

I've read the video would be up later, but, no idea how long the delay is

Think the tone was sarcasm...it was in the context of howard kinda being gaudy about, "oh, you're rich enough and big enough to do that,"
Ed just humbly said, "Oh, I think we've rented but now we've finally paid it off."

No meeting Watt, just went in and recorded. First thing they recorded with Watt

Stone had the guitar part initially.

They took apart his initial idea. It becomes something different. Was done in one hour

Ed sang along with song to find melody. Found lane, throw syllables in to make it frenetic.

Phrasing was important. He gets that on tape and listens to in back. Tried to figure the meaning of the song.

To match the darkness of it, or feeling.

Ed reads a lot. Spends a lot of time with dictionaries.
