You’re right. Somehow in this conversation I was arguing as if it were 2013
I think Ed sounded good on the new songs. Interested to see how he does on the other new ones in the upcoming shows.

do singers generally ‘age’ more rapid than other musicians, or is it just easier to notice?

It's gotta be the latter, right?stip wrote:do singers generally ‘age’ more rapid than other musicians, or is it just easier to notice?
What does an aging guitarist sound like? Can you hear arthritis?

Yeah, I've definitely heard guitarists (or drummers, etc.) who get much less dexterous as they age.Jorge wrote:It's gotta be the latter, right?stip wrote:do singers generally ‘age’ more rapid than other musicians, or is it just easier to notice?

Timing isn't so hot any more, transitions are clumsier and less fluid, etc.

They both really did. It would be awesome if we got a new record in 2 years. Is it possible?

Not to blow smoke up the guy, but trag's posts have been great during this album cycle.
No knock against stip but I'm never going to read his in-depth song reviews - it's just not my thing.
Much rather hear trag talk about drums.
