3 songs from DM could close a live show after a 3rd encore.

Upper Hand
Waiting for Stevie
Setting Sun
Every sentence in my head, someone else has said.

An outstanding interview.

In particular -
Ed and Jeff talking at the end.
Ed's recording deck for Mama-son.
Jeff on the 12 string Hamer.
Waiting For Stevie from No Code sessions!

How reliable can this be? The man doesn’t remember what album Daughter is on but he knows precisely when he came up with this long-forgotten riff?

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

He was specific and said it twice.

Didnt he previously say he wrote this with Watt?

"3rd encore" is a bit of an anachronism

It’s pretty much the same riff as in hiding

he previously said he wrote it in its final form with Watt (big difference), combining a riff he already had with something Watt had; he also reinforced this part in the interview

The end with Ed and a Jeff is great. The opened and unopened letters is cool

I feel like Jeff is the glue that holds the band together. He is very passionate about the group and their legacy.

I see where you’re going. Played very differently though. The WFS riff comes back around full circle. The intro/chorus of IH is reminiscent….

I definitely teared up at the end as Jeff and Ed talked about letters and hugged--"thanks for believing..."

I wish this interview SVT-type video was another hour longer.
