Most I don't fully buy into, but two I'm all in on are UFO/UAP stuff, and the JFK/RFK assassinations.

Yeah, this is kind of where I am. I don't like crazy batshit stuff, but I definitely believe money and power are motivation enough to do fucked up things.

The JFK one is one I can easily hop on board with. The more I look into that one, the crazier it gets. He did seem to want to keep the CIA and Military Industrial Complex in check. That's billions and billions at stake, and more than enough reason to kill someone. Also there are now declassified documents surrounding LHO and his work with the CIA in Japan on the spy planes flying over Russia. Then he just goes to Russia and comes back with a Russian wife and expedited through the red tape during the height of Communism fear? That's fishy AF. There is also that call the FBI got about the plot to kill JFK using a high powered rifle from an office building two weeks before Dallas. So in addition to a conspiracy, we have a cover-up. On top of all that, there are the doctors of Parkland Hospital who mostly maintain the back of JFK's head was blown out. That is not what the Z film shows, nor what the autopsy shows, so what gives there? Who is lying? I believe the Parkland Doctors. All this is just tip of the iceberg stuff; it's truly insane and I can see how people have spent their lives studying the assassination.

Listened to part of "Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the secret History of the Sixties". Seems like LAPD/ LA Sheriff's office was up to some shenanigans as well. Whatever happened seems like more of bumbling around as some grand conspiracy would have leaked. Maybe everyone involved was so embarrassed they just didn't want to think about it ever again.

Manson's early history is also a good tale of how 3 strikes came to be. Wracking up that many crimes and just getting out with poorly supervised parole with someone who clearly could not be reformed.

I can see that, especially with their MK Ultra project. The CIA even influenced the Grateful Dead, who I love! I don't think The Dead were CIA operatives rather, the CIA fueled them and the scene LSD via MK Ultra. This possibly also happened with The Doors and the LA scene.
