it keeps amusing me that the thread title still says "So Far", as if it's just accepted across the community that something is going to change again about Wreckage

Blasphemy! The outro is perfect as is. It's the highlight of the album for me. Let these songs breathe!

I'm pretty sure if you were around for the Dark Matter album build up there would be at least a handful of posts about it

I'm going to start a letter-writing campaign to your publisher and get your book canceled.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

I find this song and Won't tell to be the biggest ear worms on the album

Stevie's "You can be loved by everyone...." part keeps popping up too

I did some creative googling and signed up to this site to download the 3:41 radio edit of Wreckage so you don't have to

But you know they are classic Pearl Jam again when they carry the end of a song far longer than it should go with Eddie just doing random stuff for two minutes.

This is the most played song of DM on Spotify the last week. It got 517k plays the last 5 days and DM got 426k plays. Not as popular as Even Flow or Alive though, those both got over a million plays in that time.

That's what it's all about, baby...

I want to hear new tags, sing-alongs, clapping chants...all of it.

Been a long while since we've had a new entry in the catalog for a Betterman (live) worthy rave up like that.

To me what they do for the last 90 seconds of this song is less "letting it breathe" and more "parade its corpse around 'Weekend at Bernies' style"

It's the only extended outro I think goes on too long.

In part because it's not really just barrelling through a cathartic emotional space, and it's arguably the least engaging part (vocally) on a song with incredibly strong vocals throughout
