yes, we were able to unwrap the fishing line from around its wing and body. It was all tangled up. Luckily it avoided the hook somehow. I'm sure it were going for the worm and tangled itself midair

That's good news. Do you eat the fish you catch or toss them back?

I do and I feel bad every time I fillet fish. I get pretty emotional about it. But I feel like killing your own food yourself is something people should do at least once in a while if they are meat eaters.

I agree, but I don't do it because I'm a hypocrite

it's never too late.. just go kill some fish, fillet them, cry a lot and eat them and you're no longer a hypocrite

I ran over a squirrel last week and felt really bad about it. I didn't eat it though.

A Canada goose with a fishing lure hanging from its chest has been living in our yard the last several days. Not moving well when it does decide to get up. I emailed the animal control people last night.

Extra sad because what appears to be its mate and several young goslings have been hanging around too.

I recorded a podcast yesterday, first one with cameras. It was really cool but tiresome too and im staying at my moms, who went to the south to see my sister.

So, im at my old place with my dog, drinking coffee while working and taking him for walks.

Pretty cool stuff
