But, yes...all kidding aside, that's exactly why it hits so close to my core. It's such a distillation of how music can alter one's life.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

it's just, in retrospect, kind of baffling that they waited this long to write this song. It's such a distillation of so much that is important to the band (end especially Eddie) and prior to this it's only really been explored in 'throw away' songs like Supersonic or STBC (which is great, but hardly carries emotional gravity)

Right...They've usually been relegated to the "fun" category (insofar as PJ is capable of fun, anyway). Slightly disposable.

Got Some would be another.

This is really the first to really match the emotional gravity of the sentiment.

I guess they're making us all wait for Stevie now too

Hopefully they'll wait until the end of the tour and debut it in Baltimore

They're trying to artificially manufacture a Breath '98 sign campaign.

As much as I'd love for this to start getting played, if I could be there for the debut in the Fall that would be amazing.

They'll play it in Portland tomorrow. They just wanted to debut at least one song in the US because fuck Canada.

The first time I heard the song I was floored by that part

I agree Clem, but that was also a serious question.

Is it In Hiding? Does he hold any of the Gone's for a while?

If they haven’t played this song by the time we get to the Garden, I am making a huge sign that says “We are still Waiting For Stevie”
