i went to a local comedy show last night and it wasnt great. he was ok, but reminded me of a work colleague i didn't like very much. the beer was expensive and i kept thinking about what i could've spent the money on instead... i couldn't wait to get home

ive been in a low mood for a few days so i tried to channel it into some kind of music using albini as an inspiration, it did actually make me feel better. it's not good but it sounds like how i felt today .

i don't think i'm failing, i just don't have any ambition to do anything other than make music for myself. i taught myself 'the star spangle banner' which i was pretty proud of, but i generally just play music b/c it feels good.

i'd like to record myself more and actually try to do something with some of these ideas, i'd probably show my friends/family who are musicians, but i've never really wanted to play in front of people.

That was fun to listen to, especially the end

I've really been getting into experimenting with my effects pedal and playing around with delay, reverb, sustain and volume swells to create some meditative ambient sounds. I'm thinking of chopping some of them up in a DAW and using them as a base to noodle around on

I’d be interested to hear how it turns out. :)

I noticed I usually record 2 ideas in one track, either the first part is a warm up to my original idea.

or the other way around , where I just keep on playing something else after the idea is finished .

Almost half the time it’s the original idea that gets deleted haha
