If they are to be believed, I am sure it will be the natural follow up to Dark Matter.

Re: 13th album rumors and speculation
An Australian audio engineer and musician based in Melbourne has said that whilst in Melbourne, Pearl Jam visited a recording studio to record new music. He played some dubs and keys on a few tracks. Stone recorded a personal shout out to the radio show which can be heard later in the clip.
Interesting.

Is Andrew Watt in Australia with them?
I have a hunch they will do at least one more album with him before hitting up another producer to make them sound more Pink Floyd-ish.

I don't think he is, otherwise I would've expected to see him on stage at some point.liebzz wrote:Is Andrew Watt in Australia with them?

Re: 13th album rumors and speculation
I mean, he doesn’t have to be. They could have been making a demo of some sort to show around to whomever they want to produce, but it seems rather early for them since they released an album this year already and their track record doesn’t speak to recording willingly.Birds in Hell wrote:I don't think he is, otherwise I would've expected to see him on stage at some point.liebzz wrote:Is Andrew Watt in Australia with them?

Awesome!! And them recording demos (probably,..) is a great sign. My guess they will get together with Andrew Watt next summer. Some more in 2026. And a new album in 2027...injuddstree wrote:An Australian audio engineer and musician based in Melbourne has said that whilst in Melbourne, Pearl Jam visited a recording studio to record new music. Re: 13th album rumors and speculation
He will be involved in some form but Stone also wanted a different approach that maybe is this one, just record songs while touring, worked them with Evans and then at some point work with Watt in studio timejoostone wrote:Awesome!!
