I read it as a grown child having to take care of an aging parent, and reflecting on the role reversal and the loss of the comfort that comes from having a parent who takes care of you

‘firstly do no harm, then put your seatbelt on’ is a lovely lyric to encapsulate processing the legacy of what you have learned from your parents

It makes me kind of upset when people shit on the lyrics.

"Ew, bedsores? Play Leash!"

It's me.

Really, I do have a hard time with this one.

The rare Gossard misfire and it's almost wholly because of the lyrics; a very novel disqualifying factor for me.

Perhaps it's a low disgust tolerance (ala Jonathan Haidt) thing.

I don’t think buckle up would be out of place on moonlander, which I like more than PRAMG albums.

Moonlander is full of jarring lyrics that sometimes don’t match the music

This is one of the best songs on the album.
