i will.

just read that the new movie has a lot more of cgi and that really shows in the trailer. Kinda surprised Miller shot it this way.

The CGI thing is concerning.

He is nearly 80 years old, makes sense he doesn't want to spend 2 months shooting out in the desert

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Just came back from watching this one.

I was more invested and entertained that i thought i would be, as im not a big fan of Fury Road. While you can see the cgi way more on this one, which is a shame obviously, it also has some very amazing moments really. There are enough great sequences that got my attention.

Overall it might be 20 minutes long, but its a very fun movie, very well made. Cast is pretty good too.

Ill re watch Fury Road soon.

i was very pleased with the tone and the pace of the movie.

Might be better than FR in that sense.

There is no sense in which the pace of a movie can be better than fury road.

I have lots of complaints, but it's still pretty good. Doesn't hold a candle to the first one - it's lacking the creativity and style and pure visceral essence, and the lead is miscast, and it takes FOREVER to get going, but it does eventually turn into a solid if standard post apocalyptic flick, which I'm always down for.

B is promising, considering your irrational hatred of Anya Taylor-Joy.
