Forbes uses click-baity headlines around stories that aren't really stories. I would imagine you'd see similar drops for any rock artist after week 1 (e.g. Green Day, Foo Fighters).

They've done recent stories about PJ that are positive, but equally misleading/overblown. You just have to recognize the source and that they're going for clicks. No one else writes about this stuff.

Green Day dropped out of the top 200 after 3 weeks. I think the Foos just barely managed a 4th week.

Like I said, streaming broke the Billboard charts. I remember reading a few months back that on an average week, 40% of the entire chart is made up of albums that are at least 4 years old. Bob Seger‘s greatest hits is a regular now, because it’s always steaming somewhere.

Yeah there was a very cool article with the guy who runs Easy Street about this; and how the streaming numbers were fucking up with most of these charts..I think he was talking about The Smile new album and the real numbers behind those physical units too.
