I actually saw a face-value 10c ticket for MSG1 yesterday. Sold before I could grab it but they do exist!

Wow! Do you get through ticket master or is there a different face to face place? I really wanna find one for MSG2

they come up on ticketmaster, but rarely. sometimes people will give a heads up on the pit if they are listing something.

Wow - that's crazy that there's only a seconds window to pick them up you must have got both extremely lucky and unlucky at the same time. Is there a thread to monitor on the pit to see drops?

So how much do you think the tickets to MSG2 are worth?

I am willing to pay a lot but the show is still over three months away. That's a lot of time to get lucky with a drop on Ticketmaster, or a cheaper than usual stubhub ticket. Right now you could buy the 200 section for around $700. I would be willing to pay that (though I would hate it) as a last resort, but I dont know if things are going to get cheaper or more expensive as the show gets closer. What was the final value for previous MSG shows?

Im not sure if I should bite the bullet and just buy a secondhand ticket, or keep refreshing ticketmaster and stubhub for the next few months until the show is closer and then only buy one that expensive as a last resort. But if that is the best it will ever be maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy before things get even more expensive. Usually with these things, things drop before the show but if I remember right with last year's MSG show, it remained expensive forever.

I would just wait. I think you will always have the opportunity to pay $700 or whatever, so might as well leave yourself the chance to get a better deal (and also a hedge against your plans changing and becoming unable to go that night).

That's good to know. That was my instinct, but I was also scared of September coming closer and suddenly they're all gone or all like $2000 or something

Not sure - are you a member of a Facebook group or parasocially know other like-minded PJ internet people? I came into a Las Vegas ticket to just get into the building by posting in a Vegas 10C group - I was looking to pay cost. Someone offered a ticket if I bought them a soda (their friend couldn't come at the last minute) and talked for a while about all things PJ.

Point being the prices of resale at Tickemaster are locked, so there wasn't enough demand for the supply available. I'd wait.

Why have you been cheating on us with Reddit?

The tour can be boiled down to some of the following points:
- Ed sounds mostly good, several songs continue to be tuned down
- Dark Matter songs sound great live, especially Waiting for Stevie and Upper Hand
- Got to Give was only played once
- Tempos seem to be a touch faster than 2022/2023, but not as fast as some previous 2010s tours
- Some poor performances of lesser played songs, but overall the other stuff has sounded good to great
- The sets started as being a little formulaic but have really gotten funky lately
