listening to Billie Eilish, it's obviously very good but it's so lowkey I have to let it grow

Lunch is so Sapphic it's awesome, and Birds of a Feather is on right now and it's beautiful

seems to be quite a seamless mix of her first two albums' styles atm

“Chihiro” is fucking good
The only Billie Eilish I have heard is either great (Bad Guy) or boring AF (everything else). But I admit I have only heard at most 5 of her songs.

I like this description though. Hmm.

It is way more low key than I was anticipating which is a shame for me. Chihiro really goes to some very interesting places but billie and Finneas seem more interested on making more songs like the Barbie one

I need more time but I was a little disappointed yesterday

So file under "Boring AF", yes?

I will continue to pass on Miss Eilish.

I'm sure she will be devastated to learn of this turn of events.

Higgs, have you ever listened to Crumb? If not, I feel like they'd be in your wheelhouse.

They put out a new album today. Here's a cut...

:heartbeat:
Maybe a couple of sleepers, but even those have their charm upon 2nd spin.
Wider range this time. Eilish did it again.

Billie album is tremendous. I love the raw emotionality of it, the lush, cinematic production, and the approach to the album as a single cohesive work. Great album and her best so far

Yeah I love how it sounds. But mostly in Chihiro

Raw emotionality? Are the lyrics good?

Similar to the KoL album, Billie's has amazing production but the songs are doing nothing for me.
