Looks like the long-standing rumors are coming true: Caps and Wizards are apparently moving out of DC to Northern Virginia. An unbelievable hit to the city if this happens.

I hate my city council so much.

Well, not all of them. 3 are good, the other 4 + mayor suck and have majority vote on everything.

I went to a fundraiser for a local D that I really like, and the person taking the podium first to do the introduction is a D that I really hate.

The one I like, we have talked personally and candidly. I don’t think she likes the other person either. But they are both local D’s and you gotta play the game.

Grrrr I hate this game so much. I wish people could just be fkn honest, and voters didn’t just blindly tick off all D’s or all R’s down the ticket.

Biden will win WA and that’s fine, a foregone conclusion. But if voters have any fucking sense they’ll choose several R’s in local elections. (Spoiler alert: They don’t, and they won’t. More of the same spiral with taxes, homelessness, suppression of small business, etc.)

I don't know what it's like in Seattle, but the average Republican around here has 1 decent idea and 10 abhorrent ones.

"We should manage our money a little better, but also gay people are going to burn in hell, trans people need to be reprogrammed. I'll pay for that buy eliminating all state workers and paying Amazon $13 billion to run the government and dosing all of our soil, plant life, air, and water with flaming petroleum. After that people will work at Walmart for free just to breathe the air that we pipe in from Texas."
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

The assumption was the same state that did it's utmost to destroy independent contractors in non-unionized industries out of spite wouldn't come after a beloved Dem-friendly industry? Lol.
