Watching the YT videos from the Las Vegas night 1 show and it was insane. Absolutely every song a gem. Having been at Sacramento, I'm super jealous. This is a boot to own, folks!

Not sure (other than waiting for the official boot) but there are a ton of videos at YT and the ones I saw had great sound and were filmed up close. An example:

Not so much a certain song, VG. i'll have it on the headphones during work, sort of listening semi-consciously, and a random line will emerge from the mist and catch me off-guard once in a while. \
Can't quite put my finger on why, but, this particular set of lyrics is potent in a way that I haven't felt from EV in some time.

I'm getting stressed what are the odds Upper Hand gets skipped at a show? I have to here it . Won't Tell and Gotta Give are getting lost in the shuffle. So what gets dropped to make way for one of them. I have never been a song chaser can't afford that type of thing. I think I will be nauseous if it gets skipped. Ideally they play it 23 times and close with setting sun.

I’ve been taking the long way home from work a lot these last few weeks to hear as much of the album as I can, really loud like you can in a car alone, and yes - the tears begin eventually. Upper Hand, Stevie, Got to Give & Setting Sun especially. This album seems way more emotional than other records, or maybe just a different kind of emotion being expressed.

Yea, this. I would imagine the fan base has hit its 40s and 50s… we’ve been through some stuff now. This album hit me hard. The lyrics on this album, just in general, are some of my personal favorite Eddie lyrics. It doesn’t seem like he was trying to write good lyrics, but rather just trying to tell us how he feels, and about his experience. It’s like he took this album for himself (thematically), and nailed it.
