I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Isn't that the movie he's been filming for like 10 years and now no company wants to pick it up? Last I heard he was still shopping it around at all the film festivals.

he shoot it last year and self financed the whole thing. Seems to be picked up already and its premiering at cannes. Will be divisive AF as great art should be.E.H. Apparently Road House is getting a sequel. It's really sad to see Gyllenhaal wasting his time on direct to streaming garbage.
