the bone in pork shoulder turned out great as always..having a Johnnie walker rye..they're all still at the hospital..no good news yet..the dogs can sense something's not right

Neighbor unexpectedly took the kids for a couple hours. I am just sitting here RMing watching the Mariners while Mrs. Bam takes a nap.

Bruce and e street are playing just down the street from me here tonight and I could hear them loud and clear sounchecking earlier. Atlantic city and light of day and a few others.
I won’t even have to leave the couch I can hear the whole gig tonight. Cool.

my wife and father in law are back at the hospital this morning to check on mother in law..they're pretty sure she had a stroke..she seems to be ok for now..the endless phone calls to insurance companies has been fun since they are now in the states but are Canadian citizens..looks like we'll get a lot of air miles having to pay this up front

I drew the short straw and have to drive my FIL to the hospital this morning..we'll leave him there most of the day and then my wife will pick him up..he'll be tired from being yelled at all day and ready for a drink when he gets back..we were supposed to drive them back to Vancouver today but that sure as shit isn't happening..last night we went to visit and I left a baseball there..I signed it as babe ruth, Edgar Martinez, randy Johnson and ken Griffey Jr..it said get well soon which was a lie..
