and these people just dont understand the magic of the universe
if this song played in front of them by pearl jam live causes them to react as such

I’ve been periodically checking ticket prices and availability on the TM website (still looking for MSG1) and I’ve noticed that there seem to be only four areas that are “sold out”: Philly, NYC, Baltimore (easy drive from Philly), and Seattle. Their market power may decreasing as a result of the prices increasing.

If only it was the same for NYC Ive been looking for MSG2 myself. There's never anything on Ticketmaster (besides occasionally the $1000 tickets) and the secondhand market has nothing under $600
I'm going to make a compilation of my favorite songs/performances from this leg of the tour once I have all the bootlegs. But I really don't wanna buy all of them.....

This is where livefootsteps could really shine... have ratings that go into each performance of each song and thus you could have a dynamic "best of" album crowdsourced. Which a very smrt person once said is the future of fandom.

Saw fan exchange tickets for MSG2 on Ticketmaster today - they were limited view seats in the very back but its better than nothing
Put them in my cart, put in my credit card info, but got an error....then though they were showing up on the map Id get an error every time I tried to get them. Then they kept going back and forth between available and not but buying them never actually worked until they thought that I was a bot and suspended my session <_<

The Grateful Dead have something like this called Heady Version. The lifelong Deadheads hate it, because people just vote for the most familiar versions, or for shows they attended in person. But I agree with you, in theory something like this would be awesome.
I'm currently working through versions of DM songs for my obligatory 'Dark Matter Live' compilation. Performances are extremely good for a new album, which owes a lot to the way the album was recorded and their enthusiasm for the songs. Doesn't make picking the best versions easy though! I'm open to suggestions for standouts anyone has come across so far...
Scared of Fear: Sacramento
React, Respond: Sacramento
Wreckage: Vancouver 1
Dark Matter: LA 1
Won’t Tell: Vancouver 1
Upper Hand: Vancouver 1
Running: Sacramento
Running at Vancouver 1 was also great but Ed’s chatter goes straight into the drum intro
Funny how much this list sticks to two shows but that’s just how it shakes out for me, having heard them all.
A lot of overlap with our lists there mate. Tis funny how Sacramento was so good for the fast ones and Vancouver for the more downbeat ones. I’m being a bit less precious with 100% correct lyrics for this one, but it bugs me that there’s only one version of Setting Sun with the ‘only one hanging on’ lyric in the climax (Portland) but I’m not sure there’s a standout other version to displace it yet.
