It’s an interesting question. His counting stats aren’t that impressive (Hall voters tend to really care about those, or at least give players with big numbers some extra credit), but he’ll certainly add to them. His awards (MVP, 6 GG and 6 SS) look good, and he’ll add more. When he’s eventually eligible (15 years or so from now?) we’ll see how much more weight is given to advance metrics, which is where he really shines—he’s already top 100 all time in WAR and sure to climb.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:How much more does Mookie Betts need to do?
