Well…The Silver Cord is very different. Certainly lives in conversation but opposite Petro-Dragon, much like Made in Timeland and Laminated Denim, except this time Metal and techno. I haven’t gone through the extended versions yet. Theia alone is over 20 minutes extended.

How is there this much activity on this thread without a new album announcement. How long are they gonna make me wait for the next one!

My favorite tend to be some of the more recent because I sort of lived with them versus going back. So Ice, Death…, Omnium Gatherum, Changes. But looking back as I did, Nonagon Infinity, I’m Your Mind Fuzz, Float Along-Fill Your Lungs, Fishing for Fishies are my favorites with an appreciative nod to the two metal albums Infest the Rats Nest and PetroDragon…

All that and I would add there’s very little I didn’t like. Even the spoken words and really odd ideas still worked for what they were doing.

I started with Fishies, so I have a similar connection with that record to the one you describe.

Nest/Petro are outstanding - the band obviously love that material because they're playing heaps of it on tour.

Nonagon and Fuzz are undeniably early gems, good call there.

Ice Death is spectacular. One of my absolute favourites.

I haven’t listened yet but intrigued. Seems like they usually preface their releases with some sonic goal in mind, but all I read so far is there’s an album coming and that’s it.
