Actors that make you not want to watch a movie

I was scrolling through movies this afternoon looking for something to watch. I don't remember the movie I was looking at, but I saw Andy Garcia's face in the credits and I knew right then that I wasn't going to watch it. I don't think I've ever enjoyed seeing him in a movie.

I doubt I’ll ever watch another movie with Timothee Chalamet in it. He was good in Call Me by Your Name but over the last few years I’ve started to find him unbearable.

Also Ryan Reynolds. I made an exception for 6 Underground because of Bay but anything else, I’m out

Yeah Ryan Reynolds is probably going to be the consensus pick. I said this somewhere before but Klaus Kinski. I can't say I won't watch his movies, because he is omnipresent in some of the best Euro films of the 70s and 80s (and some of the worst, of course). But he was such a despicable human being that I can't really enjoy his performances specifically.

I honestly don't know why I hate Andy Garcia. It's not entirely rational, but I can't really think of any performances of his I've enjoyed and he just seems to make a lot of bad movies.

Fully agree on Ryan Reynolds. I cannot stand him.

I just ordered Fitzcaraldo and Aguirre on Blu-ray. Kinski may be a nutcase, but he's a hell of a screen presence.

Tom Holland definitely sucks. Emilia Clarke too (her Terminator movie is one of the worst I've ever seen and she was particularly bad in it.)

Marilyn Monroe is in Some Like it Hot, so she gets a pass from me.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I held off seeing Bodies Bodies Bodies for a while because I thought Pete Davidson would annoy me, having only seen him on unfunny SNL skits and gossip stories. But he was reasonably good in it, and not a major presence for most of the movie anyway.
