Re: Star Wars: Acolyte
Are we supposed to be suspicious that the fire didn't kill all of those witches?
Do people just lay down and die when fire is nearby?
Do stone and metal structures burn that fast?
I think this show is bad.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the time that Osama bin Laden destroyed two buildings by lighting paper on fire near the door.dimejinky99 wrote:stares forlorny in 9/11
apparently it does B
I am hoping beyond hope, that this is a set up for the fact that the Jedi caused the destruction of the building and the death of all those witches.

Obviously there's more to the story. I'm sure we'll see this same flashback again but from the Jedi perspective.

I was moderately interested in this when the first trailer came out, but I'm underwhelmed by everyone's initial response. I'm wondering it will reveal itself to be worth the watch.

There are some clunky structural issues. But every episode has been stronger than the previous, so far.
And, though we could argue about whether or not shows SHOULD be this way, but it's better on re-watch. I liked the first two episodes a lot more the second time through.

Snark aside, general consensus is Mando S1, Mando S2, Ahsoka, and (especially) Andor all improved as they went along. You need context.

There is no such consensus about Ahsoka. Mando S2 is a maybe. And I forgot about Andor.epilogue wrote:Snark aside, general consensus is Mando S1, Mando S2, Ahsoka, and (especially) Andor all improved as they went along. You need context.

I'm not saying there is a consensus on overall quality but literally everyone said it got better after the first episodes.
Doesn't mean people loved how it ended, either. That's not what we're saying.

Oof. Third episode was rough. And yeah the costumes are worse than cosplay costumes.
