It's hard to imagine Texas giving fuck all about anyone's HIPAA rights ... in their state or any other.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I guess we're about to see how legal the Texas abortion prosecution laws really are. Hopefully she'll go to Canada so they can't prosecute any doctors that help her, but it is pretty clear they will prosecute her for the abortion once she returns to Texas. Imagine having to get a politician's permission to have a procedure. And this is a woman who wants to have kids.
Pretty fucked up. Maybe this is the case that forces the Supremes to deal with it?

I'm not sure that will lead to less "fucked up" situations.

I’m assuming they would strike the portion of the Texas law that says Texas can prosecute for actions taken in another state where those same actions are legal. Otherwise it would create worse legal chaos as like California could pass a law that says obeying the Texas abortion reporting laws are felonies in California. And then back and forth forever.

I wonder if there is a concurrence or two. I'm betting the four women didn't fully agree with whatever the accused rapist had to say.

It's win for women, but kinda for Trump as well as it defuses a big fear over the elimination of access.

I read that article, and while it's not as clear cut as the headline makes it seem, it's just republicans trying every way to control women's reproductive rights.

Miscarriages are natural ways the body aborts a pregnancy. How do you regulate that??

Ridiculous.

I started messing around with adaptogens for men after dealing with low energy and mood swings, especially on long work weeks. I’ve noticed subtle but consistent changes—less brain fog, more patience, smoother mornings. I wasn’t expecting miracles, just looking for a bit of help, and it’s slowly made a difference. Totally worth reading more if you're trying to feel more balanced without jumping into meds right away.

The debate on the baby delivered from a brain-dead woman is an interesting look into where the country is post-Dobbs.

Not gonna comment on it other than that.
