So much to do there. I got a tattoo the last I was there. Pizza at Lombardi’s, drinks at a bar a short walk from there, then was swift boated into a tattoo shop by my neice.

Then we watched the Knicks lose at a tequila bar.

In the adjoining room at the tequila bar (SoHo) some recent college grads were throwing a Mother’s Day (in drag) party we then slipped into.

Took a cab back Times Squares.

Slipped into Lagos and I don’t even know why we agreed to getting a hookah. But there we were, whiter than rice, choking on a hookah and eating lobster Mac & cheese at midnight.


Walked back to the Plaza where the night security guard toured us through some of the parts of the hotel that guests don’t venture into much unless they rent the space.

We sat in the booth that appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest. It was so frickin cool.


Then we slept in until 11AM .

My 1:00 that didn’t show just texted me and asked if we could reschedule till Monday. Should I do it ?

I say no unless you’re in desperate need

I am in desperate need. I said yes. I would have never considered it otherwise.

And she texted me this morning saying she couldn’t make it today Thursday would be better for her. So I shut it down. Moving on.

And I just got a voicemail from one (different position) that no-showed her interview last Thursday calling to confirm her interview this week. She had stuff come up and wasn’t able to make it. Why do these people think they can just blow this stuff off like nothing happened?
