Hey this is on tonight. I feel like there’s a distinct lack of hype.

The wife and I were saying the same this morning about this and the Olympics as well. I guess we just don't see advertising anymore with streaming and the abandonment of print media.

That might be a part of it, for sure—with the NHL/NBA playoffs, I’m actually watching live TV a few times per week, but I just shut my brain off for the ads. There have been all sorts of lists and previews popping onto my Twitter feed, sites like The Ringer and AV Club and all the usual suspects, but I haven’t heard any real people who aren’t begging for clicks talking about it.

That was a relatively sleepy opener.
I guess all hell will break loose soon enough.
Ciriston has to be in deep shit. He should’ve been guarding the queen and the kids.
And he was dicking their granny?

Great way to describe it. There wasnt enough tension before the end to really land it, but everything else worked well.

If you didn’t have subtitles on for the last scene, just know that it said “(slicing flesh, bone).”

Was it just me or did some scenes appear slightly out of focus, like they were using depth of field in strange way.

Yes (fyi the character is a woman, but the actor is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns).
