Go and think about yoda and Grover having the same voice and think about what you’ve done.

The Kel Dor Jedi in The Acolyte episode 4 is not Plo Koon, but is named Ithia Paan instead.

Dime, it’s just not a good show. The characters aren’t the problem. The writing is. I don’t care if Brad Pitt and Emily Blunt were all of the characters, it would still be bad. You need to realize that people are capable of judging it based on quality not just because of the color or gender of the actors.

I’m not loving it either Ruddo. Much to love in it but overall it’s just a bewildering mess.
lol wait, so you got mad at everyone in the thread for not liking it but… you don’t like it?

I didn’t get mad at anyone? I do know racism and misogyny when I see it though and will always callit out. Sad to see it on this forum but yis were never the brightest and so very very American about it all. Not one of you have a shred of self awareness to see it either that’s the really grim part.
Jorge wrote:It's 10 years after Episode IX and Rey is the head of a new Jedi Order, trained to be more inclusive and tolerant of alternative lifestyles. However, her and her diverse group of Jedi friends sense a disturbance in the Force. They can't figure out what it is until Rey uses an ancient Jedi artifact called the Liter Ary Device which grants her vision into the next realm, effectively a window into what we know as the "Real World". There she sees that her adventures are treated as in-universe entertainment, but they are also used by toxic, angry nerds to lash out against women and minorities. This is causing a black cloud of negative energy that is slowly taking over the Force. Rey and her Jedi force cross over into the next realm, but they are initially overwhelmed by the sheer volume of hatred and negativity they encounter. They witness online trolls and hate groups targeting the Star Wars franchise and its diverse characters, and just being plain haters. However with the help of a heroic team of Disney marketing executives they band together to fight these toxic fans with the power of friendship, tolerance, diversity, and commodified progressivism

Whatever happened to good ole sexism? You barely ever hear anyone called a sexist anymore. When did everyone start throwing around "misogynist" as the shame word du jour? After "sexist" lost its sting from overuse, they had to move on to something else. I guess the next logical step after rendering this one meaningless is to start calling people full on rapists. Not sure what comes after that.

So, being American automatically means if we don’t like Star Wars, it’s because we’re racist misogynists. We aren’t true Pearl Jam fans because Europeans appreciate them more and enjoy and understand their concerts more. Goddamn. I know we’re not a perfect nation or society, but we shouldn’t all be painted with the same extremely broad brush you seem to like using.

Ah well... Probably for the best since we're trying to distance this from all the other Skywalker stuff. Still...

I liked this episode. Not as engaging as the last but still a step forward from where we started. I'm really starting to understand the vibe of this thing. Some shows take a minute to find their groove or for audiences to get into. Mad Men was the same for me (and no I'm not saying this is anywhere near as good as MM, it really isn't).

Excited for next week. That's totally the way a cliff hanger should work! :bammer:

The pacing and structure of the last two episodes makes the first two all the more baffling.
