lemme know if shes still doing Scream ...no way she can still do that routine
She did the song. I don’t know “the routine,” but I was pleasantly surprised by how much she danced. Her 4 male dancers did the heavy lifting. Love that she has a full band. Drummer was absolutely tireless. The set was basically a 2 hour medley, and I really enjoyed it. The crowd was into it, and that always helps.
Concert observation: who are these guys buying a bucket of popcorn for the show? It makes me laugh every time. Aside from day-long festivals, I don’t believe I’ve ever eaten at a concert.
Did she do Black Cat?
She had the live band back in the day, too. I’m sure none of the same players, but they were TIGHT!
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Higgs, you mentioned in that other concert thread (and you may have mentioned it here) about the Saints reunion tour. Are you going to that? Man that would be so fun.

You betcha. PJ in Melbourne Nov 16 and Nov 18, fly back across Aus to see The Saints in my hometown on Nov 20.
I never do runs of shows like that. I'll be pooped by the end I am sure.
Just got back from Jane's Addiction at l'olympia, here in Paris.
Third time watching the band, first time with the original lineup and fuuuuck i was waiting so long to see Eric Avery with them. What a monster of a band. They really went for it, and it was fucking good. Avery is a god really. The whole band was in very high spirits, and the crowd was nuts. Navarro was on a great mood and he killed it too.

So jelly you got to see the mighty Eric Avery. Sounds sick.
yeah, it was so cool...saw on instagram that Avery posted a pic, and walked from the hotel to the venue and got the ticket just 15 minutes before the opening band.
Place was packed though, but maybe they sell it out afterwards? not sure. But daaaamn what a show

Would probably be a lot better than a Cleese show given recent reports.
Goose was amazing last night. Opening set 2 with Travelers>Elmeg the Wise, a stunning mix of prog rock with jam band like flexibility really played into everything great about this band. The first sets more funky atmosphere made Hot Tea and Yeti fn, and Prince’s I Would Die 4 U somehow plausible. Great show and probably last until Pearl Jam in September.
Saw Green Day at Wembley stadium last night. Dookie and American Idiot in full. AI, in particular, was superb. Picked up a cheap ticket after PJ cancelled and had a great time.
