You never finished Bloodborne?! Still the best FromSoftware game IMO.
It may be their best. I love the aesthetic. I played through most of it. Put in a ton of hours. I forgot what happened but I stopped playing and when I tried returning to it, was offput by the slow frame rate. I must've gotten used to a higher frame rate Souls game by then. High frame rate is especially important in games like this. I am convinced they will release an updated version eventually, and I'm biding my time.
oh yeah that's right, i met my wife

I think that's where I am too, at least I hope so. I did a fresh playthrough earlier this year but I don't remember if i jumped to NG+ or not.

I saved after beating the game but they put me in NG+, which I’m kinda pissed about. That being said, I’m just rolling through the bosses. Mohg was super easy.

NG+ sounds tough though.

Turns out my last save was still in the end game and hadn't started NG+ so i jumped into the DLC yesterday. Haven't done much yet just trying to remember how to play this game. It's only been a few months but it's so easy to forget all the mechanics.

I didn't find NG+ that bad last time I tried it probably because I was way over leveled coming out of my first playthrough but that didn't last. I think i remember hitting a wall part way through that playthrough and didn't feel like grinding out the XP and doing all the side stuff to be able to scale correctly.

This DLC does something really smart with the upgrade system that only works in the new area. It has a way of sort of evening the playing field for all levels.

I feel like I want to switch up my fighting style for this, but I'm not sure what to choose. I've been mostly a magic user.

I almost always do a more aggressive/slash and dodge style, so I mixed it up for this game because there are so many options.
