Worried that Berlin will also be cancelled or I will get a concert with a half recovered Ed with a bad voice. Not interested in the jamily singing half the songs, I'd rather have my money back.

After being at the Manchester show, I’m not surprised. Whilst it’s a shame it is cancelled due to illness, this show has been a bit of a shambles for the band.
Hopefully it doesn’t impact the rest of the tour for those with tickets.

Hope he's ok and sucks for everyone who travelled.
Completely selfishly - I'm a bit glad. This was an impulse buy but I soon regretted paying £160 for this, and felt even worse seeing how much the ticket prices were slashed. God knows why they decided to play a stadium - they are nowhere near big enough in the UK to warrant it.

Yeah, but at least it's a huge global city with lots to do. Unlike... Baltimore.

This is exactly how I felt, and I never thought I would get buyer’s remorse for a PJ show! I’ll definitely keep an eye on ticket prices rather than rushing to get tickets on the release date if prices are astronomical. If the prices remain where they are, I’m content with stopping on 23 shows.lecherouslittlestump wrote:Hope he's ok and sucks for everyone who travelled.

Berlin is back to back shows so my guess is that either night 1 is cancelled... or both.Mike wrote:Worried that Berlin will also be cancelled or I will get a concert with a half recovered Ed with a bad voice. Not interested in the jamily singing half the songs, I'd rather have my money back.

Throw in the ticketing fuck up where I paid £160 for gig tickets that were then sold at less than half price, they need to change their name to Pearl Scam. This is the second time they've cancelled a London show now.

What about a big open field somewhereigotworms wrote:Problem they'll have is that they've probably sold more tickets than you could fit into an arena should they want to switch venue, but not enough to fill a stadium.

I’ve already made my peace that this will probably be my last year for PJ shows. Assuming it’s not the band’s last year for PJ shows.Evvo wrote:This is exactly how I felt, and I never thought I would get buyer’s remorse for a PJ show! I was about to go, we even exchanged messages with good old RMer Joost, but In glad I didn’t ; it was very expensive to go to London from Paris and I kinda figured they would cancel after all the reports coming from Manchester.

What a bummer. I’ve traveled for most of the shows I’ve been to. Went to Barcelona in 2018, but the thing was, it was just part of our itinerary. Had it been canceled, I would have been annoyed, but it was by no means the highlight of the trip. I can’t imagine an international trip where a concert is the main event. Now if I were traveling to Baltimore or Philly or some other domestic city I’ve already visited (from MN), I’d be pretty upset.

How are things going at the Pit, you ask?
