VinylGuy wrote:im loving this one...its exactly what i was asking them to do with a slow burner. I dont know why, but it feels like something that could have been placed in Vs, along with Small Town, for example.
it has that big dramatic sweep that comeback wanted and didn't have, and that the other slow songs on recent records haven't really aimed for.

Glad to see the positivity for this one. Definitely an excellent addition to the catalogue and my favourite from Lightning Bolt, followed by Swallowed Whole. Up their with Jeff classics Pilate, Low Light etc I'd say. Vedder is in top form on the verses especially. I can see taking this portable style to some sacred places for a listen.

I was flipping through the radio stations in the kitchen this morning, and came across his one on a classic rock station. Pretty surprised, but cool to find.

I could listen to this a 300 times in a row and want more afterwards. It's absolutely fantastic. :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

It has now moved up from best since Man of the Hour to best since Parting Ways.

I saw Pitt and then Brooklyn and there was a big improvement on how this was played, definitely growing on me.

Song still sucks, but yeh, it's pivotal to the album.

Ed's voice sounds really, really, really, good on this song.
