I'm seeing rumors that he didn't actually take a bullet in the ear, but rather glass from the teleprompter? What's the official take on this?

I had heard this, but I don’t know where it originated, and the photos and videos don’t show any damage to the teleprompters you can see on stage. Could it have been other debris? Sure. But I don’t think enough has been released to know one way or another right now.

This is the thing that bothers me, because based on what I've read about AR-15s, if you get clipped in the ear by a bullet from one, there should be pretty massive damage to the ear. Even if it just hit the edge. Trump's ear looked cut, rather than hit by an extremely high-velocity projectile.

Why haven't we seen any hospital records from his visit after the bullet "ripped through his skin". I heard he had an MRI.

Also, why no blood spatter on his lapel?

i wouldn't say they were miraculously positioned. there were all running over each other in front of the podium to get close. One was the nyt bullet picture, and the same guy shows him with "blood" on his hands in the next shot, right after reaching to his ear.

theres video from behind the stage front row of the bleachers of the photographers being moved by secret service, into position. i wish i was kidding but im not.
