Joe, you’ve said it’s middle of the pack, what do you consider worse than this?

As far the live action SW TV goes, I'd probably rank them...

1. Andor
2. Ahsoka
3. The Acolyte
4. Kenobi
5. The Mandalorian
6. Book of Boba Fett

I could be talked into switching Mando and Kenobi, too, based on how strong S2 of Mando is (and the fact that I loved S3, though I respect that most really struggled with it).

lifes too fuckin short
I’m only watching this show because a friend is going through a divorce and asked me to watch a show with him. So i’m probably the only person in this entire thread not failing the “life’s too short to do this” challenge by hitting play on the Acolyte.

He really wanted to. He’s a lifelong fan. Saw A New Hope in theaters during the original theatrical release and it changed his life. In a lot of ways, I think Star Wars is to him what Pearl Jam is to me….a lifelong relationship that has gone through some rough patches, but means a lot to him and would be hard to truly give up.

Anyway, he doesn’t like the show. He’s already promised me that neither of us needs to bother with season two. For comparison, he liked Obi-Wan, he liked a lot of Mando, and the other stuff mostly not.

I think sometimes the oldest fans, the ones whose lives were changed by the original film, are the hardest to please and to hold onto. I'm sorry he's going through some real life shit. And I'm also sorry he didn't like the show since this world seems to mean so much to him.

Escapism should be fun.

But you're a good friend for watching with him.

Would love to know how much the main cast members get paid for a show like this or any of the Star Wars shows

Only one thing to say after that

No way in the universe yoda is not gonna see through whatever bullshit story she tells him.

I think this series ends here on that basis. I’m not sure what else you can do just smilo ren teaching her.

I’d say this ends here. Would be better if it did.

100% agree about Yoda sensing the cover up. Which is why I assumed she was going to confess what really happened.

Which makes Yoda
A ) complicit with the cover up
B ) aware of the existence of the Sith which he doesnt in Phantom menace.

Can I also ask why did Basil sabotage Sols ship to assist Maes escape ?
