It seems like a random grouping but I love stuff from each of them separately so whatever they make together should be somewhere between good to great.tragabigzanda wrote:Interesting!zeb wrote:https://www.instagram.com/p/C9fmw1VO2U-/?igsh=bzN3cHF3cHlrejFt

I would have thought big ass crosses were a dime a dozen out your way dad. Must be dozens of them, surely.zeb wrote:That's awesome, dad.dad wrote:What’s wild is I know exactly where the pic for the cover art was taken.zeb wrote:First single from the next Chat Pile record (Oct 2024) is also hot shit.
And just quietly, this is exactly the type of music I just can't deal with. Sorry zeb, totally not my thing.

It’s that one in particular, which is very close to home.

All good! Not trying to change your mind or anything but not all of their material is quite like that.Higgs wrote:And just quietly, this is exactly the type of music I just can't deal with. Sorry zeb, totally not my thing.

I've never really gotten into the Japandroids, but listening to the radio today they are apparently releasing one last album and calling it a day. This is the single off of it - Chicago. Cool tune.

Much excitement at my end for the new Lilacs & Champagne album out today, Fantasy World; their first in a decade.
https://lilacschampagne.bandcamp.com/al ... tasy-world
Kind of funny this is the same guys as Grails, but somehow much more enjoyable.
All of their records as L&C are great.

Welp, I like the new Fabiana Palladino album:
Some songs give me a pretty strong A Seat at the Table vibe.

Never heard of this guy until today with his song with Beck
Orville Peck
This feels like old school country with hint of Elvis but refreshed for now
I like it.
(RM search shows epilogue has brought him up a few times)

Orville Peck rules!
His 2022 album Bronco is probably my favorite album of that year.

I’m ready to queue up this surprise new Jack White album.
Apparently he was slipping test presses into peoples bags at Third Man Record shops. There are rips floating around.
