I paid 1200$ for that chair, then I found out it's one of the worst ones in its class.

I would love it if there was a stickied and locked thread run by a mod (let’s say B since he is clearly the most competent) with pictures of users already posted by them with their posting name. It’s just nice to know what everyone looks like. I’ve met some of you and have seen multiple pictures of others, but like monkey driven….i just see Bullet Bill. And really the holy grail for me is Doug. Are you more of a Joe or Brian Hackett?

Same. Every social media profile, every account on a different message board, every published op-ed and podcast appearance... I have a master spreadsheet I've been building for 12 years

It was so weird, the whole thing seemed to be triggered by me asking out loud "when is it over?" As soon as I said those words it was like this nausea came rushing in. Felt like wanting to puke and wanting to cry at the same time. I'd never experienced that. My girlfriend helped me down and I spent much of the weekend canceling a bunch of shit. I am giving up large amounts of money and probably damaging professional relationships in the long term but I also desperately need a breather.

I missed your post there Jorge. I hope things are improving for you and the pushing back on commitments has helped.

I very much understand the feelings you describe and have felt similarly suffocated at times.

For me right now having this end point of hopping on a plane to Italy in 8 weeks is driving me. But I am oh so goddamn much looking forward to just stopping for a while.
